Prepfly was designed to solve the biggest problem with studying for the SATs: its boring and expensive. Our solution was a set of free lightweight SAT games you can play with your facebook friends. Site is built primarily with CoffeeScript and backbone.js, with a django and postgres backend. Since its no longer being maintained, we open sourced it on Github.

Verbalite was a company created by myself and Angelo Kramvis after a late-stage pivot in the Dreamit Ventures incubator program. Learners go through recordings of pretend conversations from real life scenarios spoken by native speakers, then record themselves playing the part of someone in the conversation. Afterwards, they can submit their recordings to real experts who send them back audio feedback. Site was built using django and some flash hackery to record, encode and POST audio back to the server.

ChatFondue was a weekend hack project between myself and Kabir Hemrajani of Spotly. If you're trying to learn Spanish, ChatFondue instantly throws you into a chatroom with a language learner trying to learn English. This was built on django and the awesome OpenTok platform.

Instantly searches through multiple educational video sites all at the same time.
